Columbia River white sturgeon. Sturgeon are available in the Columbia River that runs through the scenic Columbia River Gorge and also in the Willamette River near Portland.

There's nothing quite like the thrill of hooking a 9 foot white sturgeon and having it jump completely out of the water while at the end of your line. Hang on to that pole!

Oregon Chinook Salmon
Of the five species of Pacific salmon, the Chinook and Coho are the most important to anglers. The two are often found in the same waters and pursued in much the same way, but the Chinook is the larger of the two and highly prized among anglers.

We fish Oregon Chinook salmon on the Willamette, Columbia, Clackamas, Sandy and many Oregon Coast rivers.

Most fish caught by northwest anglers range from 15 to 40 pounds. At the end of a fishing line, Chinooks are absolute brutes - hard-running, stubborn fighters that will give you all the challenge you can handle. Oregon Salmon Fishing

Clackamas River Fishing TripsOregon Clackamas River Steelhead Fishing.
The Clackamas River, in Oregon, is just 30 munities from downtown Portland. This Oregon river offers some truly spectacular winter steelhead and summer steelhead guided fishing.

The standard hatchery steelhead runs, both summer and winter, have been replaced with a true native stock of wild steelhead. These fish return later, fight harder and are larger averaging 12 to 15 pounds each, with some as large as 20 pounds or more being caught.
